About Hulhumalé: the new city by the airport
Hulhumalé was built by the state-owned Housing Development Corporation on reclaimed land beside the airport island. It is a calm base for a first or last night, with a beachfront promenade at Central Park, cafés along the sea, and two hospitals, Tree Top and Hulhumalé Hospital.
