Addu’s four channels and sheltering reefs make diving possible in most weather, and the atoll has a manta cleaning station where reef manta rays can be seen year-round. Around 20 dive sites, from 5 to 30 metres, also bring grey reef sharks and eagle rays. Visit Maldives says full and new moons, with their stronger currents, bring in more big fish.
