About Manta Trust
The Manta Trust studies manta and devil rays around the world and has long worked in the Maldives, including Baa Atoll. Its ten-step code for swimming with mantas asks you to enter the water at least 10 metres away, stay at least 3 metres from the manta, approach from the side and never touch or chase it. Ask your resort dive centre whether it follows the code.
